Mexican Oilcloth is a highly durable double coated fabric that is very versatile. It can be cut into any shape and does not fray. Suitable for place mats, tablecloths, aprons, book covers (sewn or taped), under high chairs to catch any food spills from going onto the floor, carry bags, outdoors and much more. Use as a protective liner for cupboard shelves and drawers in the kitchen and pantry. There are endless creative ways to use oilcloth in the home, workplace and craft items. Available in a variety of solid colour, check, stripe, floral and fruit designs.

To calculate the number of units to order, divide the total length (in centimetres) of fabric required by 45cm (1 unit is equal to 45cm, and so on). This will provide the total number of units to Add to Cart

Eg: 1.8 metres (180cm) of fabric: 180 divided by 45 = 4 units (ADD 4 TO CART). 18 metres (1800cm) of fabric: 1800 divided by 45 = 40 units (ADD 40 TO CART).

Fabric can take 7 - 18 working days to arrive

This fabric will be shipped in a satchel (we roll in halfway folds) if less than 15 metres is ordered. Over 15 metres is shipped rolled. Creases in oilcloth can be eliminated easily by placing in the sun for a short period of time.

We recommend using Coats and Clarke sewing threads when sewing your fabrics. To ensure the quality of the fabric is matched by the qualtiy of the thread is important, especially when you want the product you make to be durable.
